A sikh is a person who has chosen and started to move on the path that leads to the discovery of the truth, the person who has made up his mind and started to work to pursue a path to salvation, get out of the cycle of life and death, to meet the Guru and Akal Purakh. He is a person who has chosen & started to work to become a Gursikh, then a Gurmukh and then eventually reach a level of spirituality, which will lead him to Sach Khand and get relieved of the cycle of life and death. A sikh is a person who has chosen to win over five vices � Panj Doots (Kam, Krodh, Lobh, Moh and Ahankaar), Asa, Trishna, Mansha, Nindya, Chugli, and Bakhili. A sikh is a person who has chosen to get relieved of the effects of Maya Nagni. A sikh is a person who has decided and started to work to kill his haume and become an utmost humble person. A sikh is a person who has chosen and started to work to kill his Dubidha, doubts and distractions of mind. A sikh is a person who has chosen and started to work on leaving the life of a Pakhandi and become a Sach Khandi. A sikh is a person who has decided and started to love everybody and all His creations and never spread any hatred instead spread and give love to others, share other's griefs, help the poor and down trodden people.
